About Job
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve greater independence and an improved quality of life. Your role will be vital in assisting clients with daily activities, personal care, community participation, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment
Support clients in household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
Facilitate social and community participation by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and events
Encourage and assist with skill development to enhance independence and well-being
Monitor and report changes in client's physical and emotional well-being
Administer medication as required and in accordance with care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of clients and yourself
